10MM Twinwall

10MM thickness is often referred to as Twinwall. It is only available in clear. This is our biggest seller and it's used across all types of roof applications for curved canopies, car ports and lean-to roofs. In longer lengths, the sheet will 'cold curve' in an arch shape.

Cutting: On the sheet diagram below, we sell vertical cuts only of this master stock sheet. When the sheet is cut, we 'blow out' the hollow flutes of the sheet with compressed air to remove any cutting swarf. We can also tape the ends of the sheet with breather tape, or, if the panels are being cut again by you on site, we can supply the tape loose so that it can be applied after you make your amendments. Silver foil tape goes at the 'top' end of the panel and the vented breather tape goes on the bottom end of the panel. (Cutting, Blowing and Taping are included at our warehouse at no additional charge).

Installation: it is the manufacturers recommendation that the lines / ribs of the sheet run down the slope or fall of your roof project. The sheet has follow flutes and installing it this way allows any condensation build up inside the sheet to vent - when combined with the breather tape on ends of the panels.

UV Treatment: Multiwall Polycarbonate sheet has a UV inhibitor coated on one side of the sheet. It is the side of the sheet showing printed text on the wrapper film. This side of the sheet should be installed facing up towards the sun. HINT: Do not remove the wrapping film unbefore the sheet is installed. Technical Data Sheet
